Chris Hicks has a lifelong interest in woodworking, from making table lamps and chessboards while at school, to having it as a hobby while earning a living as a computer programmer.  Nearing retirement, Chris has set up WoodChicks and built up a serious workshop to run a small business. Thousands of others have the same idea, so the aim is to make Woodchicks products a bit different and unusual.
