The answers
This is a list of things you might want to know, as other people have already asked.
No, we just produce a small number of items and often build to order. We don’t have a large stock of different products. Please regard this website as an Online Showroom.
I’d love to discuss it. We do like making things that are different to the usual.
And if (for example) your idea seemed too difficult or costly, I could suggest ways to solve both of those issues.
We can repair and clean up old cutting boards, tables, desks, chairs, etc.
Having a lifetime of learning to skillfully cover up my own woodworking mistakes, I am well placed to make cracks, burn marks, broken joints, etc, become structurally sound, and disappear.

Yes. And for large items like a table or bed, that is the best option if you can manage it.
But all visits please by prior arrangement (to make sure the item is ready, and that somebody will be here to meet you)
I sell items at craft fairs and some the WoodChicks products would fit in nicely and (hopefully) sell well. Can I buy from you at reduced (trader) price ?
Woodchicks would certainly consider this. Chris loves making things but not going out selling them.
And we would also be happy to sell to shops.
BUT… please don’t ask for Sale-or-Return; we’ve been bitten by that too many times.

That is true. But I can assure you that all our products are handmade in UK. We do not exploit children in a factory in an Asian country; we do exploit pensioners in a small shed in Cheshire (I am that pensioner, so I know this is true)
Yes, we have several methods of engraving or adding lettering to an item. These include hand carving, routing, and laser engraver.
We have customised Pet Memorials, Date Stones for houses (and house name signs), chopping boards (nice wedding or engagement present)
Let’s hope that is a joke — we are supposed to be retired by now. :-)
On the other hand, this is mainly a hobby and people do relax by enjoying their hobby on holidays. So the answer has to be: maybe.
Sorry, but no. We only post items to addresses in the UK.
However, we often put items on eBay and they have an international shipping service. So that way you could have our items deliverd to your country.
(If there is something you’d like, but it isn’t on eBay, just ask and we will create an eBay listing for you).
