Back in the day I just had a hand saw that was used for everything. Now we have electric bandsaw, jigsaw, table saw, reciprocating-saw, circular saw, mitre-saw, as well as different hand saws. And dozens of different blades. We also have a machine for sharpening blades.  There is a chainsaw, but that rarely gets used.
